Designed to be accessible on cloud, mobile and tablets, Ramco Aviation Software continues to add technological innovations with wearable devices offering hands-free computing, and straight-through processing to cut down AOG (aircraft on ground) time and TAT (turnaround time) drastically.
Ramco has become the solution of choice for several top airlines and five of largest civilian heli-operators in the world, says a company official.
Currently, Ramco Aviation suite powers over 2,650 aircraft, globally, he says.
With the arrival of the connected aircraft era, Ramco has aligned its products to the needs of the customer with some of the latest innovative concepts including wearable devices.
"After revolutionizing the aviation market with Cloud and mobile-based offerings, Ramco is now enabling the next wave of transformation, with Wearable Devices. This includes building use cases for enhancing productivity by making real time data available on intelligent devices such as a Smart Watch or a Google Glass," the official says.
"Maintenance personnel getting lost at the concourse of a busy airport searching for the right tail number to start work, will soon be history lessons when he uses solution available on wearable technology integrated with Google Maps," says the official.
Ramco also has a solution for Maintenance Optimization & Shift Planning, Straight Through Processing (STP), Loadable Software Airplane Parts and Role-Based Workspace among other intelligent devices.
