PRV's basic philosophy of "Technology keeps you ahead", reflects in his consistent efforts to drive Innovation. His rich and diverse experience in the IT Industry has helped make Ramco Systems one of the Top 100 enterprise solution providers in the world. An astute businessman, PRV has chartered an ambitious growth path for Ramco Systems in the global market.
PRV’s passion for technology also led to the introduction and adoption of modern technologies in the textile devision, producing high quality cotton yarn. He was instrumental in establishing the first Export Oriented Unit of Spinning Mills in entire South India, exporting high quality yarn to M/s. Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan, and also pioneered in the Open End Yarn in India.
As the Group Chairman, PRV is also the Managing Director at The Ramco Cements Limited, a leading cement producer in India. Recognising his efforts in taking Indian products to the Global stage, CII conferred him with the ‘Global Influencer of the Year’ award at CII CONNECT 2016.
PRV holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Madras, India and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.
